Swedish Payroll Outsourcing Services
Aurenav Payroll Services (APS) provides a one-stop, full service solution for organizations and individuals that need to meet statutory tax and labor reporting requirements for Sweden. Your dedicated payroll account manager will take the time to learn your business and work with you to develop a custom solution that meets Swedish regulatory requirements. To help you control your payroll costs, APS offers fixed fee pricing on most of our services.
Each of our services can be customized to meet your specific needs. An outline of our basic services is provided below:
Salary and Benefit Payments
APS can process hourly, commission, salary, expense, bonus, and any combination of employee compensation. APS also processes statutory payroll benefits including sick pay, vacation, and parental leave. We can also process qualified pension and other benefit compensation plans.
Electronic Payroll Payments
APS can consolidate your payroll needs into a single electronic wire transfer from your regular bank to our payroll escrow account. Payments to each employee and to the tax authority are made through our electronic payment service.
Monthly Swedish Tax Declaration
Employers are required to file a monthly tax declaration with the Swedish Tax Authority. APS can provide full service filing or partial service filing where we only fill out the payroll portion of the tax form. The Swedish Tax Declaration form contains two parts:
Salary and Benefit Reporting
Each month, Swedish employers are required to report the gross payroll for the month, the social taxes owed on the payroll, and the amount of income withheld for tax purposes. The social and income withholding taxes must be paid to your company tax account on a monthly basis.
Value Added Tax (VAT) Reporting
Each month, Swedish employers that have VAT numbers are required to report VAT receipts and payments. Any VAT credits are first applied towards the social tax owed.
Annual Swedish Tax Report
Each year, Swedish employers are required to provide a detailed report to the Swedish Tax Authority for each person employed during the year. The report states the salary (including bonuses and benefits), and the amount of income tax withheld. A year-end statement is sent to each employee (usually a KU-10) and an electronic accounting summary is sent to the Swedish Tax Authority, which is used to reconcile the monthly income withholding and social tax deposits that were made into the company tax account. APS processes the annual report including sending the electronic media reports directly to the tax authority. Sweden has prescribes a standard chart of accounts (BAS) for accounting and a standard data format for accounting software. This allows company accounting data to be interchangeable with audit and tax authority software. APS can furnish a year end accounting data file upon request.
APS Monthly Invoice
Each month, based on what you tell us, APS will invoice your company for each employee. The invoice is broken down by accounting item to assist in maintaining an audit trail. You can choose between individual invoices for each employee or for a consolidated invoice with a detailed breakdown by employee. In either case, APS accepts a single wire transfer payment for your convenience.
Monthly Individual Payroll Statements
Each month, APS will process an individual payroll statement for each employee. A printed payroll receipt is mailed by post to each employee. You may choose to have the company copy sent to your office by post, fax, or e-mailed as an electronic PDF file.
Monthly and Annual Reporting
APS takes care of all statutory reporting that is required on a monthly and annual basis. APS will also provide you with a copy of the Swedish Tax Authority Form KU10, which is filed on your behalf by your payroll account manager.
